Stasher is a shared home inventory: write down where you put something, and everyone in your household can find it.
Need help, found a bug, or want to request something? Email stasherdotapp@gmail.com — it reaches a real person.
Tap ☰ on the home screen, choose Household to see your invite code, and share it with them. On their phone, they sign in, choose “Join with a code”, and enter it. You’ll both see the same items from then on, updating on each other’s phones within seconds.
Tap ☰ → Household and choose Generate a new code. The old code stops working right away.
Note that this doesn’t remove anyone who has already joined — it only stops the old code being used again. If you need to remove someone who is already in your household, email us.
Yes. Create a household and never share the code. Everything works the same; you’re just the only member.
Yes. Adding and editing items works offline — useful, since the back of a closet or a basement often has no signal. Changes are saved on your phone straight away and sync when you’re back online.
Rejoin with the same invite code and everything comes back. Leaving doesn’t delete anything, even if you were the last person in the household.
If you don’t have the code any more, email us before doing anything else and we’ll help you get back in.
In the app: ☰ on the home screen → Household → Delete account. It happens immediately.
If you’re the only person left in your household, the household and everything in it is deleted too. If other people are still in it, their items stay — those belong to the household rather than to you.
This can’t be undone.
Everyone in your household. Items and notes are shared with every member, so treat a note as something the whole house can read.
Nobody outside your household can see any of it.
In the app: ? button on the home screen → Submit feedback / report a bug. That opens an email with your version details already filled in, which saves a round trip asking which build you’re on.
Or just email stasherdotapp@gmail.com directly. What helps most: what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead. Screenshots are welcome.
? button on the home screen → Tutorial. It’s the same walkthrough shown when a household is first set up, and you can leave it at any point with Skip tour.
